BIG BRASS ROCKET

This BIG rocket is made almost entirely from brass. Using solid old bar stock, I have kept much of the patina it had gathered over the years rattling around various drawers. In my opinion, this makes the rocket more visually appealing and interesting to look at. Sections that I did machine which then looked ‘new’ I have aged to blend in with the rest of the rocket. I have purposely kept the stand plate rough cut as it came from the drawer.

Rocket bears the GGB initials and year of manufacture in morse code.

This rocket is a beast. Its 17.5 inches long and on the stand weighs over 5.8 KGs or nearly 13 Lbs !!

The whole thing oozes character !
