One for true Speedmaster fans!
Without having the actual materials to hand that NASA had back in the day, this is the most accurate NASA strap I can build. Made directly using the NASA blueprints, this strap is the 207 as shown in the galley here. The blueprints for this strap are posted up on the late, great Chuck Maddox's Speedmaster resource site. What that guy didn't know about Speedmasters wasn't worth knowing!
The strap is 19" long and was designed to go around the suits worn by the Apollo crews, safely holding their Speedmaster in place.
If you are a collector of Speedmasters and NASA memorabilia then the V207 is a worthy addition to the collection. Of course, if you happen to have space suit to hand then all the better!
